Working in a care industry is very rewarding a simple thing can make a huge difference in someone life. Apart from professionalism, I have connected with different families, made a long term friendship and learn different cultures”.

When we decided to keep our dad with Advanced Alzheimer home as we possibly could we needed help. We were lucky to have Kay – dad was lucky because her care of him was professional and efficient but full of compassion. She worked extremely well with the family and other carers and we still consider her a family friend, Kay come to us highly qualified in every aspect of care, including personal care and the use of equipment such as hoist. Even when carrying personal care, she maintains dad’s dignity. It was a relief for us that she was able to make a personal connection with dad and distract him from his anxiety and confusion, get him chatting and smiling at times. I remember that she was also really good at getting him to eat or drink. She looks after our dad until he passed away. It can't go without saying Kay was reliable, trustworthy and punctual myself and all family we will recommend her most highly.

You are an amazing genuine being, kind-hearted people like you are rare to find these days. But it is people like you who make me believe in kindness. We may have all the modern medical gadgets and medications which may heal the body, but the warmth of your care heals the heart. Thank you so much for your selfless generosity.

I found support from a Care Organisation, who provided us with care for him throughout the night, as well as the morning helping him to wash dress, and the early evening with toilet activities etc. Put simply, there is absolutely no way we could have managed without the support of our carers, my husband lived for 2yrs in the comfort of his own home because of the care, attention, and friendship of the care given to him.
Looking back now, I cannot explain enough, the peace of mind I have, knowing that everything possible was done for him by the carers and myself to make the end of his life as bearable as possible for him, and through the carers professionalism, he maintained his dignity which was so very important to him as well.

We have spent days awake, worrying about our father until you came. You have made our lives so much easier, because you were someone we could rely on and trust in supporting our father, you have gone over and beyond whilst remaining very professional! We really appreciate all your kindness and the sincere sacrifices you are making.

My mother was not the easiest patient to help, it required a heart full of patience and care to manage her and you managed to do all these with a smile on your face! There are not enough words to use, to show our utmost gratefulness to you.
